Our Search for a New Rector
O gracious God, you know our unique needs as we continue our journey to recognize and select our new rector. Help us to listen anew to you and each other so that we may discern the direction you would have us go. Be with us as we create a new, shared vision and guide our steps with your heavenly compass, that we may accomplish our task inspired by imagination and not memory. Finally, we ask your blessing upon the All Saints Church family, even as we continue to pray for the priest, known only to you, who is on the way to us. All this we ask in Jesus' name, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.

First steps
Our discernment process consists of three components.
-
Search Committee, co-chaired by Dick Hewson and Linda Gyurko
-
Profile Committee, chaired by Meg Beresik
-
Office of Transition Ministry (OTM) Portfolio Committee. The Portfolio Committee will produce the "ecclesiastical help-wanted ad."
Parishioners will be active participants in helping these committees develop the profile and identify the qualities that we are seeking in our next rector. In addition to comments collected from our appreciative inquiry summit in November, parishioners completed surveys in January on who we are and what qualities we seek in a rector. To view a presentation of those results, click here.
The next step is to produce the Parish Profile, which will be submitted to the vestry for approval in February.
